RYAN Reynolds has pledged his allegiance to Wrexham after a Manchester United fan pleaded with the Hollywood actor to launch an Old Trafford takeover.
Asked on Twitter if the Deadpool star would buy Manchester United, Reynolds, responded: "I’m already seeing someone."
The comment came after another dramatic injury time winner for Wrexham, as they twice came from behind to beat Eastleigh to keep their automatic promotion hopes alive.
The tweet was said in reply to Reynolds' announcement that Wrexham legend Gareth Davies will be going to Wembley "in comfort" as a guest of honour.
Gareth, who made 490 appearances for the Dragons during a 16-year spell at the Racecourse Ground, has dementia and currently lives in Bay Tree House care home in Wrexham.
The 72-year-old is also in a wheelchair, which has complicated matters in regards to his travel to London, but fans of the club are determined to get him to Wembley.
After the hashtag #GarethIsGoingToWembley started to circulate on social media, co-owner Reynolds made the statement.
