A MOTORIST found not to be wearing a seat belt has been ordered to pay more than £275.
Roy George Austin, 47, of River Lane, Saltney, was found to be driving a Mercedes on the B5129 in Deeside on September 21, 2021 while not wearing the required seat belt.
Austin had pleaded guilty to the offence and the case was dealt with via the single justice procedure at Mold Magistrates Court on Tuesday, April 5.
The defendant was fined £153 and ordered to pay £90 court costs and a £34 victim surcharge, totalling £277.
His guilty plea was taken into account when the sentence was imposed.
