A NORTH Wales' glamping retreat is the star of the show on this week's episode of the new series of Interior Design Masters.
Brook Cottage Shepherd Huts, a glamping retreat near Pwllheli, is featured in this week's episode of the BBC's Interior Design Masters, hosted by comedian and "Chatty Man" Alan Carr.
Located on the glorious Llŷn Peninsula near the border of Snowdonia National Park in North Wales, Brook Cottage Shepherd Huts offers a quiet rural retreat in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with uninterrupted far-reaching views to Yr Eifl (The Rivals) mountains.
Nestled within a wildflower meadow overlooking a private lake, each hut has all the luxury of a 5-star experience, whilst at the same time allowing guests to really switch off, relax and connect with nature.

The award winning retreat offers luxury boutique glamping for adults only and the five traditional shepherd style huts have been lovingly hand-crafted by co-owners Mark Barrow and Jonathan Gooders, both of whom have a background in fine art.
"It was a great opportunity," said Mark.
"We have five huts and they were down to five designers by episode 5, so they each got a hut."
Named after the wife and daughters of Llywelyn the Great (c. 1173 – 11 April 1240), King of Gwynedd and ruler of Wales, each hut comes complete with en-suite shower room, double bed, fully fitted kitchen, tables and chairs (both inside and out) for quiet, intimate dinners and a wood-burning stove to make those chilly evenings extra cosy.
Jonathan added: "We started the build nearly two years ago, and when we heard the BBC were looking for a glamping site to use as a location for the new series, Mark contacted the production team, who came for a recce. We completed the build of all five huts, so they were ready for the designers to come in and put their stamp on them."
Though not everything went swimmingly, as Mark explains, "Unfortunately one of the designs didn't work out, but that gave us the opportunity to create something unique from scratch, but you'll have to watch the programme to see which it is."
The episode of Interior Design Masters airs on BBC1 at 9pm on Wednesday (April 6).
