North Wales Police seized numerous weapons from an address in Flintshire earlier today.
Flintshire officers attended the address after discovering intelligence regarding weapons at the location.
Police said:
"Officers from Rota 4 Flintshire North attended an address earlier today following intelligence of weapons being kept at the location.

"Officers spoke with the occupant, and discussed the recent change in law in relation to the Offensive Weapons act 2019.
"Section 46 of the Offensive Weapons Act 2019 makes it an offence to possess certain weapons such as zombie knives, samurai swords and flick knives in a private place, including homes.

"The Occupant voluntarily surrendered a large number of weapons for destruction.
"We will continue to act on any intelligence we receive to remove any illegally possessed weapons from our streets in order to safeguard the public."
