CAUTION has been urged by police after "suspicious" vans made visits to a Wrexham livery yard.
North Wales Police confirmed it has had information on two vehicles seen entering the site, in the Cefn Mawr area, over the past few days.
Rural Crime Constable Chris James said: "When challenged, the occupants of the first van made an excuse of issues with a tyre but at no point checked any of the tyres on the vehicle before leaving.
"After a short period of time a second van attended the yard and left almost straight away when members of the public were spotted.
"Please ensure that all vehicles are locked and secured, that all tac rooms are locked and any trailers or items used in day to day running of yards is housed out of sight.
"If anyone has any concerns about vehicles or persons attending livery or farms yards please don't hesitate to contact police."
