A TOTAL of 4,853 new cases of Covid-19 have been reported throughout Wales in the latest Public Health Wales (PHW) figures over a 72 hour period.
That takes the total amount of cases since the pandemic began to 858,983.
A total of 1,158 of those cases were in North Wales.

The full breakdown of figures for North Wales is as follows:
Flintshire - 222
Wrexham - 230
Gwynedd - 209
Denbighshire - 190
Conwy - 178
Anglesey - 129
Sadly, a further four deaths have also been recorded for the whole of Wales.
That takes the total number of suspected Covid-19 related deaths since figures began in early 2020 to 7,126.
