MOTORISTS escaped serious injury after a two-vehicle crash on a Flintshire high street.

Emergency services were called to the incident on Caergwrle High Street shortly before 5.30pm yesterday (March 24).

The collision involved a silver Volkswagen Golf and a grey Mercedez C220.

Officers attended the location along with ambulance crews and fire officers, with a temporary road closure enforced.

No serious injuries were reported from the scene, North Wales Police said.

The Welsh Ambulance Service confirmed no one was taken to hospital following the incident.
