SOCIAL media sensation and Wrexham AFC super-fan Bootlegger will be visiting a North Wales cricket club next weekend to celebrate his own brand of beer being put on draught there.
People all over the world have become devoted supporters of the club since the takeover by Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney was completed in early 2021.
But, there is one fan in particular who hundreds of thousands of Twitter followers in particular will recognise - Karl Phillips, aka 'Bootlegger'.
With 332,000 followers on the social media platform, it's fair to say that 'the captain' himself has also helped put Wrexham AFC on the map.

Over the years, he's become a cult hero through his matchday vlogs and videos of him sinking pints while coining iconic phrases such as “I’ve had an absolute grueller” and “It’s gonna get tasty baby”.
The roofer-by-day's 'one of the lads' approach to life has gained him a lot of recognition among fans who are hooked on his humour and what he gets up to on a daily basis - so much so that he has now even released his own autobiography.
Next weekend though it will be Anglesey's turn to be blessed by The Captain's presence as he visits Menai Bridge Cricket Club.
All are welcome to join the party which kicks off at the club for 5pm on Saturday, April 5.
Bootlegger is visiting the venue to celebrate the fact that his own brand of Wrexham Lager Bootlegger 1974 Pilsner is being put on draught there.

The pre-season celebrations for Menai Cricket Club will get underway that night and money used from sales of tickets (£5 each) will be put towards a future expansion project.
A spokesperson for the club said: "Wrexham Lager are installing their draft beers at the club so we are having a pre-season party to celebrate.
"We are also raising money for our clubhouse extension which we will be starting later this year."
It promises to be a night to remember as Bootlegger arrives at The Bridge!
Menai Bridge is currently the only cricket club on Anglesey. The team won the North Wales Premier League in 2014, 2015 and 2018.
Anyone wishing to book a ticket for their event, should contact Dion Holden on 07950940546.
