TODAY (Wednesday, March 23), marks two years since the very first lockdown was brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic in Wales.
The virus' effects are still ongoing to this day and, as of March 20, 2022, the pandemic had caused more than 469 million cases worldwide and 6.07 million deaths, making it one of the deadliest in history.
Leader readers have been sending in their views of how life has changed for them over the last two years. This is what they had to say.
Hannah Woodland Griffiths said: "Always been well my whole life. Caught Covid March 2020. Was hospitalised. Not been the same since.
"My mum's cancer went to her brain June 2020. She forgot who I was. Went into end of life care in September 2020. I was not allowed to see her because of Covid rules. She passed away November 2020. Funeral was December 2020. Only allowed a few people. Masks and no hugging allowed. No wake. Just went home. Awful."

Susan Oni-Orsan added: "Had Covid right at the start and it took me 6 months to recover but my lungs still aren't right. Had it again at Christmas and still not right now. I've also lost my social life more or less, I don't go to the gym anymore, I'm wary of being in groups of people, I couldn't bear to get this horrid illness again. I wish it would disappear!"
PIC: Life has changed in so many ways for many of us over the last two years - but not for everyone according to our readers' views.
Sarah Walsh commented: "Had a daughter in lockdown and lost my father to cancer."
Dawn Hutchinson told us: "My mental health suffered hugely and still is, and I think it will continue for quite a while, my anxiety has gone through the roof."
Judy Claire said: "Left me anxious. After shielding for so long had four jabs. Got covid now for the second time in 4/5 weeks apart. I'm not that outgoing bubbly person I once was. Every outing for me is thinking about how many people are around. Plus side I have the best people around me."
Others were on the opposite end of the scale.

Kevin Holland told us: "I count my blessings. Worked right through and nobody I know got really ill. I feel sad for anyone who's had it rough and especially the older folks who've had tough times at both ends of their lives."
Sallyanne Lyth said: "I started my own carer business for dementia clients."
Issy Richards said: "We've witnessed true community spirit in action here in Llangollen throughout the pandemic, thanks to existing and new community groups."
