A WREXHAM man has been spared jail after making threats to kill a woman.
Scott Mitchell, of Maes y Gornel in Rhos, appeared at Wrexham Magistrates Court on Friday.
The 28-year-old admitted that in February this year in Johnstown, he made a threat to kill Rebecca Lennard intending she would fear that the threat would be carried out.
He received a four month custodial sentence, but it was suspended for 24 months.

He must comply with a number of requirements, including abstaining from consuming any alcohol throughout a period of 120 days, up to 35 days of rehabilitation officer and a monthly review.
The court imposed a restraining order lasting until March 2025 prohibiting Mitchell from contacting Rebecca Lennard.
He was ordered to pay a £128 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
