Last month we asked readers to share photos of their pets napping, and possibly win a prize in the process.
In collaboration with Wrexham-based bed specialists, North Wales Beds, the Leader asked to see pictures of your family animals, having sweet dreams.
You entered in your hundreds, with many featured in our ‘pawzzzsome’ picture supplement.
We can now reveal our three winners, who were picked at random.
Scooping the first prize of a brand new Sealy Posturepedic Millionaire Mattress (available as a double or king size, as stipulated by the winner), with a value of over £500, was Fiona Morris, from Bersham.
Fiona had entered with a picture of Scruffy the cat lounging in front of their TV.
Second prize, £100 off any item in the North Wales Beds showroom and store, located on Mold Road, Gwersyllt, Wrexham, was won by Kerry Chester.
Kerry, from Deeside, shared a photo of her dog Blue, sleeping in an awkward spot on her stairs.
And our third placed winner was Gemma Richards, from Rhostyllen, who has £50 off any item in the North Wales Beds showroom and store.
Gemma sent in a photo of dog Luna catching 40 winks with her teddy, who she can’t sleep without.
Speaking of the competition, David Griffiths from North Wales Beds, said: “We loved seeing so many fun and cute photos of snoozing cats, dogs, and every pet in between, from across Wrexham and Flintshire in the sleepy pets competition with the Leader.
“We hope our deserving winners Fiona, Kerry and Gemma all enjoy their prizes and sleep just as well as their pets!”
