A POLICE dog more than used to tackling crime in North Wales helped track down a suspect hiding in a Flintshire alleyway.
Police Dog Guinness is a familiar name within the Cheshire and North Wales Dogs Unit for his work in helping officers fight crime throughout the region.
Just a few weeks ago, police shared CCTV footage of him chasing down a wanted man in the Conwy area.
The man quickly realised he could not outrun the rapid and determined Dutch Shepherd and was soon apprehended.

On Saturday, March 12, it was Flintshire's turn to see just how good Guinness is at sniffing out suspects.
A statement from the Cheshire and North Wales Police Dogs Team on the incident read: "A suspect made off from officers last night following a Public Order incident in Mold, Flintshire.
"It didn’t work out that well as he was located by PD Guinness trying to hide down an alleyway but soon gave himself up when Guinness made his presence known."
People were quick to praise the police pooch's actions on social media following his last heroics.
One user wrote: "Well done PD Guinness and handler. Didn't he want to play with you? You're a great team working hard to keep our communities safe. Take care and stay safe."
Another added: "Well done PD Guinness. Hope you showed him why criminals call you Police Dogs Landsharks."
