One lane was closed and there was two miles of queuing traffic on the A55 following a vehicle breaking down.
Traffic Wales confirmed there was a lane closure in place as they looked to recover a broken down vehicle near J34 Ewloe on the A55.
Traffic was queuing back approximately two miles to Northop Hall.
A traffic report stated: "One lane closed and queueing traffic due to recovery work and stalled car on A55 North Wales Expressway Eastbound from J33A Brookside (Northop Hall East) to J34 A494 Mold Road (Ewloe).
"Cameras show lane one (of two) has been closed."
The lane has now been reopend and traffic has returned to normal.
