A 'TERRIFYING' burglary took place at an address in Wrexham earlier this morning (Monday, March 14).
North Wales Police say the incident took place on St John's Road, Wrexham, at around 4am.
Officers say the offender smashed the rear patio door of the property to gain entry.
Goods have then been stolen from the house, while someone was home, and car keys were also stolen during the ordeal.

A statement from North Wales Police described the incident as 'terrifying'.
It read: "Sadly, a burglary occurred at St Johns Road at around 4am. The offender smashed the rear patio door to gain entry to the property.
"Offender has then stolen goods within the property and then taken the house and car keys to load the car.
"A terrifying incident especially with the homeowner being home. [There are] urgent ongoing inquiries from a policing side of things.
