A mum and daughter from Wrexham are set to travel to Poland this week to give their support to the people of Ukraine.
Chloe Robinson and her mum, Claire are travelling to Przemysl, a city on the Polish/Ukrainian border, later this week to donate supplies and volunteer.
After seeing the news and stories on social media, Chloe and Claire felt they couldn't just sit back and watch everything unfold without trying to help.
They decided that they were going to help in a 'pro-active way' by heading out to Poland to give whatever support they can.
Chloe said: "The idea came from wanting to help the Ukrainian front line citizens escaping the war and ourselves wanting to take out supplies for the families, children and animals, to give a little back.

"Our aim is to put a smile on their faces and help deliver supplies that may not have been sent. For example; sweets, chocolate, food, games, teddies, dog food etc.
"Something that would make their day a little better when finally arriving in Poland. We also want to help the Polish volunteers whilst over there so we will be volunteering as well."
Claire is driving to Poland and will leave on Wednesday, March 16. She is set to arrive in Poland with the supplies on Friday, March 18 and will be back in the UK on Monday, March 21.

Chloe is flying out to Poland on Wednesday evening and is set to arrive in Przemysl in the early hours of Thursday. She will be staying in Przemysl to volunteer until Sunday evening.
A GoFundMe page was set up by Chloe in an attempt to raise funds for their trip, to which they have had an 'amazing response', from customers of her estate agents.

She added: "I have had an amazing response from my customers. We have received so many donations and our GoFundMe page is nearly at £3,000.
"100 percent of donations from the GoFundMe page will go towards travel costs and most importantly buying supplies whilst we're out there.
"Additionally any further funding left over will go towards paying for accommodation in Przemysl for those families escaping the war.
"We have been in direct contact with the head volunteering group in Poland so we are receiving daily updates regarding the exact supplies they require.

"We have been lucky enough to receive discounted donations from Lidl in Krakow to deliver to the front line of Przemysl."
