A TEENAGER who jumped into a bush when being chased by police officers has been handed a fine.
Carlos Evans, of Dawn Close in Buckley, appeared at Mold Magistrates Court on Thursday.
The 19-year-old admitted being drunk and disorderly on August 23 at Mynydd Isa.
Rhian Jackson, prosecuting, told the court that on the day of the offence, police were called to an address in Mold Road over an incident involving a group of people in possession of bottles and bricks.
Officers chased a number of males, one of whom was wearing a Hugo Boss top.
As the males approached a playing field, the one in the Hugo Boss top jumped into bushes.
He was removed by police and identified as Evans.
His speech was slurred, the court heard, and it was discovered that he was the subject of a curfew.

Lorraine McLure, defending, said: "He does wish to apologise - he's been stupid.
"He's a very young gentleman and he assures me he is trying to move on from this.
"He's hoping to do general building and construction work."
District Judge Gwyn Jones said he took on board everything he knew about the defendant when arriving at the appropriate sentence - including that he was going through "a challenging time" in his life when the offence happened.
Evans received a fine of £100 and was ordered to pay £85 costs, as well as a £34 victim surcharge.
