MORE than 1,000 people have tested positive for coronavirus in Wales.
The update from Public Heath Wales, which covers the 24 hour period from Thursday to Friday, reported that 1,006 new cases had been confirmed in Wales.
These figures are the results of PCR testing not Lateral Flow Testing.
Sadly there were a further two Covid-related recorded in Wales.

Of the 1,006 new cases, 218 were recorded here in North Wales.
Cases in North Wales can be broken down to:
Flintshire - 49
Gwynedd - 47
Wrexham - 35
Denbighshire - 33
Conwy - 32
Anglesey - 22
1,912,811 people have now had their covid booster jab in Wales.
