Betsi Cadwaladr has confirmed they have received a notice of termination regarding dental services in Flint.
Bupa Dental Care in Flint handed in a notice of termination to the North Wales Health Board. The dentist service contract comes to and end on May 31, 2022.
Betsi has stated that they are determined to ensure that patients are not without dental services and are currently pursuing options to enable a continuity of services.

Peter Greensmith, acting assistant director North Wales Dental Service at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board, said: “We have received notice of termination of NHS Dental Services from Bupa Dental Care in Flint.
"We remain committed to ensuring that dental services in Flint that are subject to the notice served by Bupa are not lost to the public.
"As such several options are being pursued at this point in time to ensure continuity of service. These are commercially sensitive and more details will be shared when firm plans are in place.”

A Bupa spokesperson said: “Bupa Dental Care Flint is open as usual and we’re still booking appointments for our patients.”
