On Tuesday evening, the town's county councillors met with North Wales Police (PCC) and Crime Commissioner, Andy Dunbobbin, to discuss the problem.
Councillor Carol Ellis said: "We have called for an increased police presence in Buckley, as well as more CCTV cameras covering areas of the town centre.
"We passed on the concerns of residents and traders with in the town and asked if the PCC can speak with the Chief Constable to press for a visible police presence and any other help that can be given to make the town safe for all.
"Mr Dunbobbin is now speaking to North Wales Police's Chief Constable about both possibilities."
