ARRESTING a man wanted for four months, locating a missing 17-year-old and dealing with shoplifting offences were amongst the incidents dealt with by police in Flintshire last night.
North Wales Police's South Flintshire team had a busy start to its night shift on Wednesday - which included six immediate (blue-light response) incidents in the first 3 hours.
At 6.50pm officers responded to a report of a group of youths going to damage a house in Mold. Several youths wereblocated and stop-searched for stolen property and drugs. It transpired no damage had been caused.
At 7.12pm, they responded to a road traffic collision in Saltney where one party became aggressive with the other. The conflict was resolved by officers and insurance details were exchanged.

At 7.48pm, they were called to a public order incident involving youths in Buckley, who fled. A search of the area was made but was unsuccessful.
At 7.52pm, they responded to reports of criminal damage in Saltney at the youth club. The youths were identified and action will be taken.
At 8.30pm, a man was arrested in connection with a series of commercial burglaries targeting shops in Mold throughout 2021. The man was interviewed and released under investigation as further investigation is required.
At 8.49pm, officers located a missing 17-year-old in Buckley and returned them to their home address in Merseyside.
At 10pm, they responded to shoplifting at the Shell garage in New Brighton. The suspect was located and the matter resolved by issuing a community resolution for first offence.
Later on in Saltney, they arrested a man who has been wanted on a recall to prison for nearly four months. He has been returned to prison.
