FLINTSHIRE and Wrexham communities have been praised for their "fantastic response" in support of those affected by the Ukraine war.
Hundreds of thousands of people have been forced to flee the country as war rages on.
Various organisations are supplying aid to those displaced - most of which have entered Poland.
For this reason, the Polish Integration Support Centre in Wrexham is orchestrating the local aid response.

And following a rallying call for donations of essentials in Flintshire and Wrexham, dozens of bags full of items are ready to be sent out to those in need.
Buckley councillor Carol Ellis has set up a collection point at her home.
She said: "It's been a fantastic response from Buckley. We are hoping to deliver to Wrexham on Friday morning many in the community have volunteered their services and vans and large vehicles.
"The response has been fantastic with people bringing all things we asked for.
"We have been touched by hand-made baby clothes and blankets knitted by pensioners during lockdown. People have been going to the shops and buying clothes for children and toys and toiletries. People using their birthday money gifts to buy supplies. People really want to help."
