AN AUDI driver travelling the wrong way on the A55 in Flintshire has been confirmed as the second person to have died in a crash over the weekend.
Two people were confirmed to have died after the crash near Dobshill just before 12.30pm on Saturday, February 26.
The first person to have died was confirmed to have been Anglesey resident Sean Brett, who was well-known within the football community on the island and beyond.
Mr Brett, who was 50 years old, had won countless silverware with Menai Tigers and had also been involved with the likes of Gaerwen and more recently Glantraeth.

North Wales Police has now confirmed that the driver of a red Audi TT - which had been travelling the wrong way along the A55 - also died at the scene.
A statement read: "North Wales Police can confirm that the driver of the red Audi TT, who had been driving westbound in the eastbound carriageway, died at the scene of the collision.
"We are not looking for any other vehicles in our enquiries. We would like to kindly ask that the privacy of the driver’s family is respected at this time. NWP would like to thank those members of the public who assisted at the scene of the collision and also thank all witnesses who made contact with us following our witness appeal on Saturday.
"We are in the process of making contact with all witnesses over the course of the coming days."
