A FLINTSHIRE man who spat at and police - and kicked one of female officer in the face - has been jailed.
Brandon Sharples, 24, plead guilty to two counts of assaulting emergency workers at court following the attack which took place outside the Y Pentan pub in Mold on February 6.
During the incident, he spat at police officers and kicked a female officer - who was a foot shorter than him in height - in the face.
Sharples has been sentenced to 52 weeks in prison.

A statement from North Wales Police on the incident and Sharples' sentencing read: "Pleasing news from the courts with regards to the assault on officers from 6th Feb outside Y Pentan in Mold.
"Brandon Sharples, aged 24, pleaded guilty to assault emergency worker x2 and Section 5 Public Order and received a total of 52 weeks imprisonment.
"Photo attached is the spit directed in the face of the male officer. Also worth mentioning that Sharples is 6'4" and the female officer he kicked in the face is 5'4"."
