AN AREA of Flintshire now has two life-saving defibrillators courtesy of local council funding.

Saltney Town Council has funded defibrillators at two locations in Saltney Ferry.

One is located outside Ben Wild car sales and Locks Hairdressers - which share a building on Mainwaring Drive.

The second defibrillator has been installed at the Old Chapel Cafe on Flint Road.

Saltney Ferry county councillor, Richard Lloyd, thanked both businesses and the Old Chapel Cafe for allowing use of their building.

He added: "These defibrillators are a vital addition to the area and if one life is saved by them in the years to come they will certainly have been money well spent."
