The A55 has reopened following a fatal collision that took place earlier today.
North Wales Police and Traffic Wales confirmed the road had been closed and police stated they expected the road to be closed for a long time.
Police have sadly confirmed that two people have died after the collison

The fatal incident took place near Junction 35 Dobshill and the road had been closed in both directions from there to the A5014 Broughton turning.
The road has now been reopened, ten hours after the collision.
A police statement said:
"Due to a serious RTC the A55 is closed in both directions from Dobbs Hill roundabout to the junction with the A5104 Broughton turning
Please avoid the area if possible as the road will be closed for quite a long time."
A Welsh Ambulance spokesperson said: "We were called to the scene of a multi-vehicle road traffic collision on the A55 near Broughton earlier today. Multiple resources were dispatched to the incident including three ambulances and two air ambulances."
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service confirmed they attended the crash, but have since left the scene.
