Ahead of an action-packed weekend of sport for the town and the country, Wrexham Inspector Luke Hughes hopes everyone can enjoy the occasion responsibly.
In-form Wrexham will look to continue their National League promotion push in Saturday's 3pm home game with Aldershot Town.
Six Nations rugby will take centre stage soon afterwards when Wales head to Twickenham to face off against England in the early evening.
Typically sporting weekends like these mean a capacity crowd at The Racecourse, with thousands heading to the town's pubs and bars afterwards.

While additional police resourcing will be in place to keep the public safe, Insp Hughes has urged the Wrexham community to play their part too.
He said: "Wrexham's a sporting town and we know how passionate the fans are for their football club and their national sides.

"Naturally, we hope that everyone sees their team get the right results on Saturday and that everyone enjoys what promises to be a great day of sport.
"We are expecting a weekend of high demand in the town, that's certainly been the case in the past when we've had fixtures like these.
"Alcohol-fuelled incidents are something we have to deal with on every Friday and Saturday night, and those problems can be exacerbated when pubs and clubs are more packed than usual.
"Our staffing will reflect that demand, but I would urge everyone to take responsibility for their own safety during a night out.

"If you encounter any hostile situations - try to avoid them and, if possible, report the matter to bar/pub staff or to the police. Your own safety and that of your friends is paramount, so drink in moderation and know your limits.
"After coming through the worst of the pandemic, we're at a point now where restrictions have been lifted and some normality has returned.
"We're able to mix in large groups again, go to pubs and clubs, and attend large-scale events like football matches. Let's all enjoy these freedoms together and look out for each other as a community."
