WREXHAM residents are being urged to remain vigilant following a burglary in the area.
North Wales Police say that an address in Pentre Broughton was burgled whilst the occupants were not at home.
Officers say their enquiries are ongoing following the incident.
A statement from NWP read: "Sadly, North Wales Police received a call regarding a burglary in Pentre Broughton that occurred in the evening. The occupants of the address where out during the time. On going enquires with this incident.

"Becoming a victim of crime is a terrifying experience. Please do all you can to prevent this from happening. When going out please make sure all doors are locked and secure, and if you can invest in CCTV, ring doorbell and outdoor lighting.
"Window alarms and light timers can be purchased from on line, DIY stores and some supermarkets."
North Wales Police carry out regular patrols in the Wrexham rural areas.
