Wrexham Lager hare handing out free pints today as a 'thanks' to their customers at a time people are facing rising costs and bills

The brewery will be serving free pints until 5pm tonight, and no one needs to purchase anything for the shop though it is still open as normal.

Wrexham Lager announced the gesture yesterday in a social media post that read: "We know it’s not the easiest of times with rising costs (etc), but as a small token of our appreciation for the support you continue to show, we are inviting you for a pint at the Brewery tomorrow.

"Don’t worry about buying anything from the brewery shop, this is simply a small thank you from us to you."

Joss Roberts, sales manager at Wrexham Lager, said: "We do usually offer pints on a Friday you purchase something but this one we just thought 'let everyone end their week well', it's been a strange week with everything going on so come down to Wrexham Lager and have a pint on us! We're more than happy to give that away to our good customers."

The brewery should be starting to get busier as people begin to leave work and Joss says people can have as many as they want.
