Yellow and Blue are hosting events to celebrate International Women's Day next month.
Women and children are being invited to a free drop-in banner making session at Yellow and Blue's 'Heart of the Town' community room on Saturday 5th March between 10-1pm.
This is in preparation for the 'Women's Climate Strike' (which takes place on International Women's Day, Tuesday 8th March in Queen's Square, Wrexham).
A spokesperson said:
"We're welcoming women and children to pop by and make colourful, banners/flags/placards to show your solidarity with the women and girls who are disproportionately impacted by the Climate Crisis.
"Chat about what you can do personally to tackle the crisis; whether it be stopping buying stuff, eating less meat, or joining an environmental or climate activist group. And if you can't make it on the actual day of the 'strike', don't worry.
"Take a photo of you with your banner and post it on social media on Tuesday with the hashtag: #womensclimatestrike.
!Women in the Global South need our help, let's 'strike' up a conversation and try and make positive change.!
