North Wales Police have expressed concerns over the emerging trend in reported caravan thefts across the Wrexham Rural district.
The most recent of these incidents occurred in the Highfield area of Wrexham, with two caravans taken from an address between 18-21 February.
Two other reported thefts were made in the Wrexham area earlier in February, with both vehicles subsequently recovered by officers in Cheshire.
In late January, North Wales Police say that they also received a reported theft of two high-value touring caravans from a storage facility at Plassey Leisure Park in Eyton, Wrexham.
All caravan and motorhome owners are now being urged to be vigilant around vehicle security and to report any suspicious behaviour by calling 101.
Reports can also be made via the online service: https://orlo.uk/39qJS or on 999 if you believe a crime to be in progress.
We would also encourage all owners to register their caravans with the Central Registration and Identification Scheme (CRiS).
