A WREXHAM woman has been fined for stealing clothing from a shop.
Michelle Geraldine Catherine Flanagan, of Bryn Hafod, had her case heard at Mold Magistrates Court.
The 49-year-old had admitted that on November 19 last year at Broughton Shopping Park, she stole clothing to the value of £46, belonging to Next.
She was ordered to pay £46 in compensation, as well as £85 costs.
Last week's motoring offenders dealt with by the courts
The theft constituted a further offence committed during the operational period of a suspended sentence order, which was initially made by Llandudno Magistrates Court in April last year for four offences of theft.
It was decided that it would be unjust to activate the suspended sentence as the defendant is making progress, so the court decided to make the order more onerous by adding six months onto its operational period.
