THE A483 has shut as Storm Eunice makes its way to North Wales.
Traffic Wales have confirmed that the A483 viaducts have now shut due to Storm Eunice.
They Tweeted at midday: "#A483 closed from J1 #Ruabon to #A5 #Chirk due to extremely high winds impacting Dee & Ceiriog viaducts."
The 14 mile diversion goes to Llangollen via the A5, before merging onto Llangollen Road through Trevor and Acrefair and eventually rejoining the A483 at Junction 1.

Earlier today one land had stayed open.
They tweeted: "#A483 #Dee & Ceiriog Viaducts remain open at this time"

The Dee Viaduct was closed southbound from Junction 1 yesterday evening and orginially the viactuct was to be closed both ways until 12pm today.
