A NUMBER of residents from across Wrexham and Flintshire have been dealt with by our area's Magistrates Courts over the last week.
Here are some of those cases and their outcomes:
Stephen Mark Randles, aged 37, of Chester Street in Wrexham.
Court & date: Wednesday, February 9 at Mold Magistrates Court.
Offence: Failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver / rider of a vehicle when required.
Outcome: Proved by single justice procedure - fined £660 and ordered to pay a £66 victim surcharge, as well as £90 costs.
Tom Michael Redmond, aged 27, of Church View in Chirk.
Court & date: Wednesday, February 9 at Mold Magistrates Court.
Offences: Drive a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence, use a motor vehicle on a road / public place without third party insurance.
Outcome: Both offences proved by single justice procedure. Fines of £220 and £660 respectively. Costs of £90. Victim surcharge of £88. Driving record endorsed with eight points.

Jonathan Liam Rowlands, aged 31, of Padeswood Drive in Padeswood.
Court & date: Thursday, February 10 at Mold Magistrates Court.
Offence: Speeding - exceeded 30 mph on a restricted road (A541 at Pontblyddyn.)
Outcome: Guilty plea by single justice Fined £40, victim surcharge of £34 and £90 costs. Driving record endorsed with three points.
Stefan Roberts-Morris, aged 50, of Halkyn Street in Flint.
Court & date: Thursday, February 10 at Mold Magistrates Court.
Offence: Exceed a 40 mph speed limit in contravention of a local traffic order (A541 at Pontblyddyn)
Outcome: Proved by single justice procedure. Fined £220, victim surcharge of £34, costs of £90. Driving record endorsed with three points.
Shaun Owen Jones, aged 35, of Woodlands in Gwersyllt.
Court & date: Friday, February 11 at Mold Magistrates Court
Offence: Use a motor vehicle on a road and fail to maintain lamps/reflectors rear markings/devices in working/clean order and use a motor vehicle on a road without a valid test certificate.
Outcome: Both offences proved by single justice procedure. Fine of £220, £34 victim surcharge and £90 costs for failing to maintain vehicle. No separate penalty for test certificate offence.

Steven Lee Borrowman, aged 60, of Llanasa, Flintshire.
Court & date: Friday, February 11 at Mold Magistrates Court
Offence: Exceed temporary 40mph speed restriction (A55 at Tal-Y-Bont).
Outcome: Guilty plea by single justice procedure. Fined £66, victim surcharge of £34. Driving record endorsed with three points.
Thomas Austin Miles Gordon, aged 35, of Heol y Parc in Bradley, Wrexham.
Court & date: Friday, February 11 at Mold Magistrates Court.
Offence: Exceed speed limit for a goods vehicle (A5 at Halton.)
Outcome: Guilty plea by single justice procedure. Fined £106, £34 victim surcharge, £90 costs. Driving record endorsed with three points.
Amy Leigh Hughes, aged 24, of Holborn Crescent in Brynteg.
Court & date: Friday, February 11 at Mold Magistrates Court.
Offence: Use a motor vehicle on a road/public place without third party insurance
Outcome: Proved by single justice procedure. Fined £660, £88 victim surcharge, £90 costs.
Marc Bray, aged 37, of Erddig Road, Wrexham.
Court & date: Friday, February 11 at Mold Magistrates Court.
