THE A483 Dee Bridge will be closed as a "precautionary" measure due to forecast's warning of strong winds.
Storms Dudley and Eunice are set to hit the UK in the next couple of days.
Traffic Wales has said it is arranging traffic management on the A483 Dee Viaduct to prepare for high winds.
A southbound lane closure will be in place from A483 J1 on Thursday to support a precautionary full closure in both directions on Friday between 6am and 12pm.
Traffic Wales said: "The traffic management needs to be set out on Thursday evening while winds are lower.
"A full closure is required due to wind speeds as a precautionary measure.
"Please note that due to the landslip on B5605 Newbridge the diversion route has been extended."
