A POLICE dog assisted with the arrest of a man carrying a knife in Wrexham.
The Cheshire and North Wales Police Dogs unit said Gas (pictured) and its handler assisted the Wrexham Rural policing team on Monday evening in dealing with a male in possession of a knife.
A spokesperson said: "Upon being challenged by PD Gas, they wisely decided to drop the knife and were arrested without incident."
