It's not far off a century since the people and places in our latest gallery were caught in a moment in time.
Taken off glass plate negatives from the 1930s, these are stunning shots of life in a long-gone period.
They focus on Wrexham and its surrounding areas, especially Rhos, and are a captivating record of the time.
It beautifully frames the past, from some of the county borough's landmark buildings and businesses, to the people and communities that called it home.
This is the first in a two-part feature showcasing the fantastic images, and although some are slightly damaged or lacking in detailed descriptions, they are no less perfect.
