North Wales Resident's are being warned about a new scam that has been reported over 700 times in just three days.
The scam involves fake emails claiming to be a security software, which results in personal and financial information being stolen.
In a post on their community alerts page, North Wales Police said:
"Watch out for fake emails claiming to be from McAfee computer security software.
"Action Fraud have received more than 700 reports about these scam messages in three days!
"The links in the messages lead to phishing websites that will steal your personal and financial information."
