A Wrexham nightclub is getting ready to re-open it's doors after a month of being closed as it celebrates ‘Freedom Weekend’.
ATIK on Brook Street is hoping to party in style this Friday and Saturday (28 and 29 January) as it opens it's doors for the first time since Christmas Eve.
The club will be decked out in a mystic wonderland theme with special guests and entertainment lined up. Stilt walkers, fire breathers and professional dancers will add to the party mood and Saturday night’s extended session will continue until 5am with Ibiza Rocks resident DJ Patrick Nazemi live in the main room.
A big turnout is expected with tickets selling fast following the Welsh Government’s decision to relax Covid rules which had forced nightclubs across the country to close.
General manager Mat Evans said:“We cannot wait to welcome guests as the last time we opened our doors was on Christmas Eve. Our 50 staff and security teams are extremely excited to get back to work and do what we do best, giving people a great night out.
“We were devastated about missing out on New Year’s Eve celebrations when we had a huge event planned. We’re so looking forward to coming back in 2022 and, judging from the positive messages we’ve had, our clubbers share that sentiment too. We’re expecting capacity crowds.
“We know a lot of our guests have felt that January pinch, so as a thank you for their support we have launched a new membership scheme with great discount on entry as well as some great new value offers on the bar.”
