THERE have been 2,864 new cases of coronavirus recorded on the day Wales has been given a road map to ease restrictions.
Sadly, in the latest Public Health Wales update, it was reported that four people had died in Wales after a positive Covid test.
Of the new cases, 625 were in North Wales. The counties with the highest numbers of new cases were Wrexham and Conwy.
New cases in the Betsi Cadwalader University Health Board region can be broken down to:
- Anglesey 78
- Conwy 127
- Denbighshire 75
- Flintshire 101
- Gwynedd 87
- Wrexham 157
The infection rate in Wales is now 1,274.2 cases per 100,000 members of the population.
In North Wales, the covid infection rates can be broken down to:
- Anglesey 1,274.8 per 100k
- Conwy 127,385.6
- Denbighshire 1,151.6
- Flintshire 1,310.7
- Gwynedd 987.5
- Wrexham 1,366.6
Today, First Minister Mark Drakeford has revealed a road map for Wales to return to Alert Level O.
