THERE have been more than 2,000 new cases of Coronavirus and four deaths recorded in Wales.
In the latest update from Public Health Wales, it was reported that there had been 2,176 new positive tests for the virus in Wales as a whole.
Of these, 416 were in North Wales. Flintshire and Gwynedd had the highest numbers of new cases.
The number of new cases in North Wales:
Anglesey 33
Conwy 69
Denbighshire 64
Flintshire 89
Gwynedd 84
Wrexham 77
Sadly, four people died in Wales after testing positive for Covid.
The Covid infection rate in Wales as a whole is now 1,780.5 cases per 100,000 people.
In the Betsi Cadwalader University Health Board region here in North Wales, only Anglesey, Denbighshire and Gwynedd have rates below the national average.
