EVER thought about having Deadpool standing proud in your front garden? Well, now you can be in with a chance of making that dream a reality!
A carving of the much-loved Marvel character, played in the films of the same name by Wrexham AFC co-owner and Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds, went on tour around the Wrexham area at the end of last year.
Dressed in the Wrexham AFC shirt, in tribute to the club's takeover by Reynolds, it visited the likes of the Turf pub, Wrexham Lager and the Gresford Colliery Club in October 2021.
It also features an 'Always Sunny in Wrexham' slogan - as an homage to Reynolds' takeover pal Rob McElhenney, who is the star of the long-running 'It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia' TV series.
Now, the carving - created by Wrexham-based sculptor Simon O'Rourke - is being raffled off in order to raise money for the Nightingale House and Teams4U charities.
Following the tour of the statue, Simon said: "We want to say a big thank you to all our local businesses who supported us throughout our Wrexham Deadpool Tour. Whether Deadpool stopped at your business or you helped spread the word. Thank you!
"Could you picture our Deadpool carving in your garden? Make sure to enter our raffle to be in with a chance to win!"
To join in with the raffle and potentially win the sculpture, worth an estimated £6,000, for the price of as little as £10, click here.
