A NEW skate park is all set to open in Deeside next month.
The budding Tony Hawk's of North Wales can kick-flip to their heart's content once the new facility opens at Deeside Leisure Centre, Queensferry.
Park designers, Corby-based Four One Four have recently shared images of the incredible transformation on social media.
The original skate park made way for a 250-bed rainbow hospital during the Covid-19 pandemic last April.
Now, the new skate park, set to launch in January 2022, is set to welcome scooters, skateboards, BMX and inline skaters to it's ramps, bowls and half pipes.
It is also hoped that the skate park can host competitions in future.
A statement from Four One Four Skateparks said: "And that’s pretty much a wrap at Deeside! The team smashed it and we think the locals are going to have a lot of fun with the new set-up!
"For all of you asking, the park will be open to the public on January 10."
The multi-purpose Deeside Leisure Centre also includes many other facilities including an ice rink and a spa.
