A Wrexham pub has held a relaunch to celebrate becoming a freehouse.
Landlord and lady of The Greyhound Inn, on Holt Road, Darren and Beverley Nixon, are thrilled at their new pub status, and included the local community in their celebrations.
Beverley said: "It was something we've been looking forward to for three years.
"We've now had a whole new rebrand and bar, everything's new. And the relaunch was for this."
The freehouse status means their choices can also be in support of other local business.
Beverley adds: "Our product range can now be up to us. I'm Wrexham born and bred, and we now have Wrexham Lager and hand pull from Big Hand Brewing in Wrexham.
"We can try new things now. We had a local ale on and it went within four days, so we'll have it again.
"But if certain things don't work, it's no big deal, we move on.
"There are very few free public houses now but it was something we knew we always wanted to be.
"The relaunch was really a way to say thank you to the customers for their support."

Dropping in at the event to give his support, and pull a pint himself, was Mayor of Wrexham, Cllr Ronnie Prince.
He said: "It was great to drop into the Greyhound Inn and do the honours of relaunching it’s new start.
"Landlords Darren and Beverley have done a great job, the place looks fantastic inside and out. Hospitality is first class.
"Also they have had a large Wrexham sign installed on the roof in support of Wrexham AFC.
"The new club owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, I have no doubt would be impressed for sure.
"It’s a great pub with a wonderful community feel, so everyone please drop in and try it out for yourselves."
Looking ahead, the Greyhound have something on every weekend throughout December, culminating on the 18th with Tom Jones tribute act and former Stars In Their Eyes contestant, Tony Scarth.
And they are also hosting a Great Gatsby-themed fancy dress party with a band on New Year's Eve.
