DEESIDE Round Table has been spreading some joy this December by donating Christmas trees to local organisations.

Round Table members have been out and about sharing some festive cheer and highlighting those who do great work in the community.

A Christmas tree has been donated to the likes of Ty Calon (opposite the leisure centre in Queensferry) and the Deeside Community Hospital in Aston.

In addition to these, Deeside Round Table has also gifted a Christmas tree to the four boys of Jade Ward, the much-loved devoted mother who died in Shotton in August of this year.

A spokesperson for the Round Table said: "Deeside Round Table are dedicated to our community all year round, but Christmas is a very important and special time for us. As the season of goodwill, gifting a Christmas tree is a great way to spread some joy over the festive season. It’s also an important way to remember those within our area who are making a difference and expressing love and compassion.

"We always endeavour to take time out every Christmas from our busy Santa Float duties to contribute back to our community, whether through funding, donations or volunteering."
