A NEW video promo has explained why a Danny DeVito lookalike was seen in The Turf during Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney's visit to Wrexham.
The actor (the lookalike not DeVito) was in Ireland with the It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia cast and crew to film episodes for the forthcoming fifteenth series of the McElhenney-created show.

He joined lookalikes of the rest of the It's Always Sunny Gang - and an army of production staff - to film the promo for the new access-all-areas docu-series about Wrexham AFC.
The video was released on social media earlier today and fans are loving it.
FX Networks tweeted: "At p̶a̶d̶d̶y̶'̶s̶ ̶p̶u̶b̶ the turf pub for their new docuseries welcome to wrexham, coming 2022 to FX & streaming on @hulu."
Phil Prydderch tweeted: "Oh my god, what!! this is going to be amazing @Wrexham_AFC. Hope it’s fairly early in 2022."
Another fan posted: "Best owners ever!"
In the video, the real cast are seen reacting to their Wrexham counterparts in The Turf.
It then shows Ryan and Rob watching and reacting to the footage, with a glass of Aviation American Gin and Wrexham Lager respectively.
Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney will take centre-stage in the series.
Reynolds and McElhenney completed their takeover of Wrexham in February when they invested an immediate £2 million in the National League club.
Welcome to Wrexham will chronicle their takeover – the club announced their initial interest in investing in September 2020 – and follow the Red Dragons’ fortunes over the following two seasons.
Welcome to Wrexham will be executive produced by McElhenney, Reynolds, Nick Frenkel and John Henion.
