FOURTEEN-year-old Connah's Quay High School pupil Kai Lloyd was found dead in his bedroom by his father, an inquest heard.
The inquest into Kai's death was opened and adjourned at Ruthin's County Hall on Friday.
Opening the inquest, Assistant Coroner for North Wales (East and Central) David Lewis said that Kai's father John had found him when he went to check on him at their home in Dodds Drive, Connah's Quay, on the morning of November 19.
Mr Lewis said: "This is the very sad case of a young man, who was just fourteen, who was found by his father."
He said that further investigation was needed and the full inquest would be heard in 2022.
