Wrexham co-owner Rob McElhenney made television history last night as 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' season 15 premiered.
The American sitcom first aired in 2005 and 16 years later, it has become the longest-running live-action sitcom in history, overtaking The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet, which ran for 14 seasons from 1952 to 1966.
Rob, who plays 'Mac' in the show, created, developed, produced and starred in the show for all 15 seasons alongside his wife, Kaitlin Olsen.
The fifteenth series is being streamed throughout December, with two episodes released every Wednesday until December 22.
The Wrexham co-chairman seemed confused as his show started it's record breaking season. He asked his Twitter followers:
"Tonight, Sunny will become the longest running live action sitcom in TV history. What is wrong with you people?"
Once the two episodes, "2020: A Year In Review" and "The Gang Makes Lethal Weapon 7" had aired, Mr McElhenney returned to Twitter to state that "the old mare still got legs."
Unfortunately, Always Sunny fans in the UK may be forced to wait until 2022 before the show is made available, with no date set for UK release at the moment.
