Road closures will hit much of the A55 this week.
Overnight closures will impact various parts of road throughout the week and even into December.
These are the sections of the A55 that will be disrupted by road closures this week.
A55 road closures
- A55 westbound, junction 31-28: Resurfacing work will close the A55’s westbound carriageway between junction 31 for Caerwys and junction 28 for Waen/Rhuallt this week. Overnight closures will take place between 8pm and 6am each night and will end on Thursday morning. Local diversions are in place.
- A55 westbound: The Conwy Tunnel West Portal will be closed overnight this week. A contraflow will be set up between 7pm and 7am each evening. The disruption will end on Sunday morning once maintenance work is completed.
- A55 eastbound, junction 27-30: Resurfacing work will close the eastbound carriageway of the A55 between junction 27 for St Asaph and junction 30 for Traveller’s Inn this week. The road will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am. The maintenance work will begin on Thursday and continue until December 3.
- A55 eastbound, junction 28: The entry slip road of the A55 at junction 28 for Waen/Rhuallt will also be closed overnight until December 3. The eastbound onslip road will close between 8pm and 6am each evening to allow resurfacing work to take place. Closures will begin on Thursday.
