ANTIQUES Roadshow fans were given a shock when Wrexham co-owner Ryan Reynolds appeared on the show trying to sell an item from his new film Red Notice.
Ryan was trying to flog one of Cleopatra's egg props from the new Netflix film when he appeared on the US version of the show.
He posted the video on his Instagram, in another promotional masterpiece from the Hollywood star as well as the Wrexham video that went viral on Monday.
Ryan wrote the caption: "The Red Notice scene I wish I'd shot."
The video starts with the Wrexham co-chairman sat facing Lark Mason, the Antiques Roadshow host.
The host asks Ryan to tell him about the egg in front of him and whether he acquired it through family.
Ryan says: "Yes, it's an egg."
"This is not a family heirloom. My family disowned me years ago. They don't like me.
"This is more of an heirloom that my good friend at the museum lent me. He's not aware that he lent it to me."
Lark then begins to explain a little bit about the egg.
"I recognise that this was one of the three gold eggs commissioned by Cleopatra at the end of her life, 30 B.C.," he said.
"Two of them went into public collections and during World War Two, one of them disappeared.
"German soldiers had taken it to a secure hideaway and there it remained until recently."
He then informed Ryan that the egg could be sold for over $100m at auction, much to the Red Notice star's delight.
The film has recorded Netflix's biggest opening weekend ever, since being released on Friday and is sat at Netflix's number one film spot globally, which perhaps aligns with the rumoured £145m budget.
