A TEAM of fundraisers from Wrexham have refused to let the weather put a dampener on their fundraising efforts.
This morning, colleagues from M&S at Eagles Meadow, Wrexham, were due to be climbing Snowdon in aid of MacMillian.
However, the weather made that inadvisable.
So, instead, they will be walking 11 miles from Wrexham to Chester.
The team posted on Facebook: "Today was supposed to be our store climb up Snowdon in aid of Macmillan, but unfortunately, bad weather has made this unachievable today. Instead of just cancelling plans, our team have changed their route, and will now be walking 11 miles from Wrexham to Chester.
"If you're driving that way, please give them a honk of encouragement!
"They will still be climbing Snowdon when the weather permits, we'll keep you updated on this!"
Prior to the change of plan, Katie Leighton started a JustGiving page.
They said: "As a store at Wrexham Eagles Meadow we are really passionate about Macmillan. We have had colleagues and friends who have benefited from this fantastic charity.
"Thanks for supporting our fundraising. Katie, Imogen,Emma W, Emma J, Sarah D, Andy John and Anne R."
